Animatic Story Sequence
Created in After Effects using original illustrations from Procreate, this animatic showcases visual storytelling, timing, and pacing. Includes synchronized sound effects and scene transitions to enhance mood, rhythm, and narrative flow.
A Christmas Memory
This animatic is based on a real memory someone shared about visiting Disney with her dad and baby sister. As the Christmas lights turned on, it started snowing — a moment she described as pure magic. I illustrated the visuals in Procreate, animated them in After Effects, and added snowfall effects and sound to help capture the emotion of the story. The video showcases narrative pacing, emotional timing, and VFX integration to enhance the atmosphere.
Green Screen & Light Effect
This project was created as a VFX test using a green screen clip and a composited background. I removed the green screen, integrated the subject into a new environment, and added a timed light effect that appears and disappears with hand motion. The goal was to practice chroma keying, visual tracking, and simple effects animation in After Effects.
Wand Tracking & Light Effect
In this project, I tracked the tip of a wand in a pre-filmed video of a girl in a Harry Potter costume and added a glowing light effect that follows her movements. The light is synced to the wand’s motion to simulate a magical effect. This exercise was created to practice motion tracking, VFX compositing, and animated glow effects in After Effects.
